Two ways to “handle it”

How are u at it? Stress reaches us all at one time or another and it is always an opportunity to review how we handled it and how we could have better handled it!

Recently I was at a health fair looking at mental health- and handling stress, and while there had asked consumers to describe their stress reactions versus responses!

A stress reaction is typically the result of an unplanned behaviour strategy that has us reaching for a quick response- typically negative!

A stress response however is often the result of more focused driven healthily behavioural approaches to calm the mind!

I assure we cross both from time to time, the key however is learning to adapt at making stress response our regular process of behaviour! Practice good coping behaviours will improve our responses- so begin the process of learning g to adapt “response “ibly!
